The Best Amazon Price Trackers [July 2019]

Amazon is the biggest retail site in the world. The sheer number of available products is mind-blowing, especially in popular categories. Keeping track of the various products’ prices, price changes, and discounts are practically impossible without specialized software.

If you’re on the hunt for a solid Amazon price tracking app, here are our favorites.

Amazon Price Tracker

Amazon Price Tracker by Digital Inspiration is among the best price trackers around. It is effective, easy to use, and it works on all Amazon sites. When you purchase the app, you can create a watchlist of products you’re interested in and set the price thresholds for each.

The app will then automatically keep track of price fluctuations and alert you whenever a product’s price goes below the threshold you’ve set. The app will also send you daily product digests via email.

Amazon Price Tracker

Amazon Price Tracker is available in two variants – Personal and Enterprise. If you opt for the Personal plan, you’ll get a single user license, whereas you’ll get unlimited user profiles with the Enterprise plan.

The Personal plan also lets you keep track of up to 600 products and does not include the source code. Source codes and private self-hosting are included in the Enterprise package. The Personal plan costs $29 a year, but if you opt for the Enterprise plan, it will set you back $299 a year.

Keepa

Keepa has been around for quite a while, and it is among the most reputable price tracker apps. While the desktop app is the mainstay of Keepa, there is also an Android app, as well as browser extensions for Opera, Edge, Chrome, and Firefox.

The app looks rather simple and somewhat bland, but it is second to none in terms of what it offers. Besides the basic tracking tools and alerts, Keepa also offers alerts for stock availability, price drops (in dollars and percentages), and deals. Price history graphs are also available.

Keepa can track products on the US Amazon page, as well as Asian and European pages. You can choose how you’d like to receive your alerts and messages. Available options include RSS feed, Telegram, Facebook, Twitter, and email. To start tracking a product, all you need to do is to tag it.

At its inception, Keepa was a completely free tracking tool. However, since 2019, the app costs $15 per month or $180 per year.

Earny

Earny is a slightly different kind of a price tracker. While most such apps focus on saving you money while you buy, Earny is there to keep track of your purchases and alert you when a product you bought dropped in price. It lets you determine whether or not you can get price adjustments.

How does Earny work? The app scans through your mail and creates a database of all online purchases you’ve made. It also includes store receipts you received via mail. The app keeps track of all the items you bought that are covered by price protection.

Earny Tracker

Aside from Amazon, Earny can help you keep track of purchases you made on Nike, Kohl’s Best Buy, Gap, Walmart, Costco, Carter’s, Bloomingdale’s, Overstock, and many other online retail sites.

Earny is available for Android and iOS. The apps are free to use unless you want some premium features. But it’s important to note that 25% of every sale goes to Earny.

Invisible Hand

If you’re in a hurry and you need the best price now, your best bet is to go with the Invisible Hand app. It is available as an add-on for Chrome, Firefox, and Safari.

Invisible Hand can compare prices in real time on Amazon, Newegg, Walmart, Buy.com, Lowe’s, and many other sites. It is oriented towards American, British, and German users. The official Invisible Hand site claims that the add-ons have saved more than $1B thus far. It can help you with shopping, hotels, airplane tickets, and car rental prices.

Invisible Hand

The Invisible Hand add-on, once you install it and tag a product, will show you prices on other retail sites. You will receive a notification with a direct link to the cheapest product. However, since it is a real-time app, you might need to wait a bit for it to gather all relevant info.

This app is completely free to use and has the ability to learn and adjust to your needs over time.

Honey

Honey is a versatile tool. Five of the most popular browsers are covered – Firefox, Opera, Chrome, Safari, and Edge. The add-on is usable on 3,700 sites, including Amazon, Walmart, Target, Saks Fifth Avenue, J. Crew, Best Buy, Kohl’s, AliExpress, and a ton of others.

When you stumble upon a site that’s compatible with Honey, the extension icon in the status bar of your preferred browser will turn orange. You can then tag a product you want to track and add it to your Honey Droplist. Then, you should pick the top price you’re willing to pay for that product and how long you want to track it. Honey will then send you an email the moment the product’s price gets below the threshold.

Honey Tracker

Another cool feature of Honey is that it automatically searches and applies all available discount codes and coupons, saving you the maximum amount of money for a given purchase. Also, Honey is free to install.

Camel Camel Camel

Camel Camel Camel is among the most popular Amazon price tracking apps. It is easy to navigate and it offers a bunch of advanced tracking and statistics options. The tracker works as a browser add-on. There is also a Siri shortcut, as well as an Android app. Available desktop browser add-ons include Safari, Chrome, and Firefox.

Camel Camel Camel can show you key info about a product right there on the product page, being similar to Keepa and Honey in this regard. Unlike Keepa, it can only notify you about price drops through Twitter.

Camel Camel Camel

This tracker works with a range of international Amazon sites and allows you to search for products via their Amazon URLs. Other important features include wishlist sync, filtering by product category, and Amazon locales.

Never Miss a Good Deal Again!

Why pay the full price if you can get a discount or wait for the price to drop? Amazon price tracking apps allow you to do this and a whole lot more. Some apps will even compare prices from different sites for you.

Do you use a price tracker? If yes, which one’s your favorite and why? Are there any other great trackers that we might have missed? Share your thoughts in the comment section.
