You probably already know that a device can perform faster if you’re to clear the cookies and cache. But did you know that the same is true for your Samsung smart TV? Do this regularly and you will not only improve the performance of your TV but also help protect it against malware.

However, many Samsung TV owners still don’t do this simply because they don’t know how to do it. Are you one of them? If so, then you’ve come to the right place.

What to Do Before Deleting Cookies

Before you go about deleting cookies, you’ve got to prepare for it first. Namely, your need to enable the Broadcasting option. If you don’t do that, you won’t be able to access it and clear the cookies. Here’s what you must do:

  1. Select the Home button on your TV’s remote control.
  2. Hit the Source button.
  3. You’ll now see a couple of icons. Samsung TV should be checked.
  4. Next, press Source again.
  5. Go to Settings and you’ll see that Broadcasting isn’t greyed out anymore, which means that you’ve enabled it.

However, if the option is still greyed out, you can try unplugging the TV. Wait a couple of moments and then repeat the steps. That should do the trick.
