Disney Plus is finally here and it’s definitely lived up to the huge expectations everyone had for it. This brand-new service is quite easy to use, but people are still figuring out the specifics. One of the questions that get asked a lot is how to change the language on Disney Plus?

Read on to find out how to change the language into other available options. In general, the language support still isn’t that great. Then again, the service has just been released, and only in Canada, the United States, and the Netherlands.

How to Change the Language on the Disney Plus

Changing the language on Disney Plus isn’t difficult at all. Here are the instructions, as per the official Disney Plus support website:

After you’ve subscribed for Disney Plus and signed into your account, play any TV show or movie available on the platform.
When the content starts playing, a box will pop up in the top-right corner of your screen. Click on the box.
The box is the language selection menu. Choose one of the available languages and then choose the subtitles as well.

Enjoy watching Disney Plus in your own language, or even a second language. When you sign in to the Disney Plus app or website, your language preferences will be saved. That means that you won’t have to change the subtitles every time you want to watch a TV show or a movie.

Which Language Is Default on the Disney Plus?

They will probably be available when Disney releases its service for the countries where these languages are spoken. It would be a smart decision, however, to release Disney Plus as soon as possible across the entire globe, while it’s still new and so many people are interested.

For many, Netflix is still a better option since it offers better language support, and is available in many countries where you can’t get Disney Plus.
