How To Find Someone on Bumble without Opening an Account

Posted by Jamie on April 19, 2019

Can you find someone on Bumble without an account? Can you check up on a spouse or partner to see if they use dating apps to cheat without joining them yourself? Is there an app or technique to see if your other half is using Bumble, Tinder or one of the other dating apps? These questions are typical of those we hear every day and I think it’s about time we answered.

The short answer is no. There is no known mechanism to tell if someone is on Bumble without having an account or access to someone who does have an account.

Bumble and other dating apps are designed to be self-contained ecosystems where you have to be in it to win it. If you were able to check out potential matches freely without needing to use the app, that app would lose its appeal immediately. There are websites that purportedly offer glimpses at people’s dating profiles but I have yet to see one that works.

There are also services that offer to locate and identify people using their digital footprint. These will include dating apps and websites. They cost money though. If you’re convinced your partner is cheating and really need your mind set at ease, or suspicions confirmed, try Buzz Humble or services like it.

Signs your significant other is cheating on a dating site

If you don’t want to pay for the privilege of knowing whether your partner is cheating or cannot justify the not-insignificant expense of online detectives, you still have options. You can look for signs of cheating and go from there.

None of these are evidence in their own right and a single instance of wrongdoing does not mean they are cheating. One or more signs over a given period may require a deep and meaningful conversation. That is entirely up to you.

They stop letting you use their phone

My partner uses my phone all the time. It is faster than hers and has a much better camera. As something of a selfie addict, she is always using my phone to take pictures of herself and her dog. If I suddenly stopped handing her the phone and unlocking it for her, that would be a sure sign of something.

Whether that something is cheating is up for debate. Someone who is usually open and free with letting you use their phone but is suddenly more secretive definitely has something to hide. It may be nothing bad so don’t explode just yet.

They check their messages much more often

A few of us can hear the chime of a message arriving and can wait minutes or hours to check it. If your partner is one of those and then suddenly leaps upon every message, things have changed. If they won’t share the message or suddenly smile when they read it and then immediately delete it, there is something going on.

Again, on its own, could be anything and not necessarily something bad.

They start going out more or find excuses to leave you home

Changes in social behavior are usually prompted by something and are rarely random. If your partner suddenly starts to go out with friends more, or wants to go out alone where you would normally go out together, something is up. It could be a new hobby, club or friends but it could also be something else.

On its own it could be nothing other than an embarrassing Dungeons and Dragons habit or a newfound love of line dancing, but it could also be more.

Hiding bank statements or secrecy over finances

There are ways of paying for Bumble or other dating apps without leaving a trace but most people don’t know them or don’t bother. If you both are usually open about your finances but they suddenly aren’t so open, they may be hiding a paper trail.

Any odd payments for $9.99 a month could be a sign that they are on a dating app. It could be something else entirely too.

There is no sure fire way to know if your partner is cheating on Bumble without an account or access to an account. There are signs though and these are the most common. Again, it’s worth noting that these signs are just that. They are not evidence of cheating or even wrongdoing. They could be planning a surprise party, a proposal or something your partner is just embarrassed about.

This requires a conversation where you put your fears to them and highlight those changes you noticed and ask them what’s going on. Depending on their answer, you can make an informed decision about what to do next.
