Fixing the Samsung Galaxy Note 8 Call Volume Too Low

Having call volume issues on your Samsung Galaxy Note 8 can be so annoying. This makes it very difficult to hear what the person you are calling is saying and vice versa. Sometimes you will have to increase your voice which can be improper in a place like your workplace.

Most of the time, this issue might be because of a defective microphone, even when you using the speaker. Sometimes when you are alone, you can increase the speaker volume, but this does not necessarily mean that you will hear what the person is saying.

The most effective method for fixing the call volume too low problem:

  1. You need to ensure that there is nothing placed on the microphone or the speaker.
  2. Use compressed air to wipe off the microphone and the speaker to clear out dust or debris that might have accumulated there.
  3. Press the Volume Up key to be certain of the volume level and to see if you can increase the level of the volume bar.
  4. When making a call, you can make the Extra Volume mode. You will see an icon placed in the middle of the screen and locate the Extra volume option under it.

If the problem persists after making use of the above methods, then you should consider getting a Bluetooth headset. This can be an effective way to ascertain the cause of the problem. If the problem is with the volume, there will be no noticeable difference when using the headset. But if the problem is solved, then it could be a hardware problem.

You will need to decide if you want to continue making and receiving calls using the headset or you can contact a technician to help you fix this problem once and for all. I will advise that you should take your Samsung Galaxy Note 8 to a technician and get it fixed. It’s always the best option.
