A common problem with both the Samsung Galaxy J5 is that the touch key light doesn’t work. The Samsung Galaxy has two touch keys each on opposites sides of the Home button. These keys are lit up when the Galaxy J5 is turned on, showing the smartphone is on and functioning. The reason that the Galaxy J5 touch keys are turned on is because of situations that don’t have the best lighting condition.

How to fix Touch Key light not working:
In most cases, the Galaxy J5 Touch Key is not broken, there just disabled and turned OFF. The reason that these keys are turned OFF is because the Galaxy J5 is in energy saving mode. Follow these step-by-step instructions on how to turn on the Touch Key lights on the Samsung Galaxy J5:

  1. Turn on the Galaxy J5
  2. Open the Menu page
  3. Go to Settings
  4. Select on “Quick Settings”
  5. Select on “Power Saving”
  6. Go to “Power Saving Mode”
  7. Then go to “Restrict Performance”
  8. Uncheck the box next to “Turn off touch key light”
