Your Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro comes with a beautiful AMOLED screen with a 1440x2560resolution. This kind of screen technology enables you to view images and websites in HD and screenshot anything interesting that might pop up.
On top of that, the J7 Pro allows you to make screenshots quite easily using hard or soft keys. These are the two main methods for creating high-definition screenshots with this smartphone. So without further ado, let’s dive right in and see how to use these keys.
Screenshots with Hard Keys
This method of taking screenshots is very similar to other Android devices, so you may already know how to do it. If not, here is what you need to do to take screenshots with hard keys.
First, you need to make sure you are on the screen that you want to snap. Swipe up or down to position the screen so all necessary information or images are within the screen.
When you are satisfied with the screen you want to capture, just press the Power button and the Volume Down button. You should press them at the same time, not one after the other. If you pressed the buttons correctly, you should hear the shutter signal that you’ve successfully taken the screenshot. You’ll find the screenshot in your gallery.
Screenshots with Soft Keys
Taking screenshots with soft keys is almost the same as doing it with hard keys. There are some marked differences, though, so let’s take a look at how to utilize this method.
First make sure to open the app, webpage, or anything else you want to take a screenshot of and position it so that all the information you need is visible on the display.
This is where the soft keys method is a little different than the previous one. Rather than holding Power and Volume Down buttons, press Volume Up and Power button instead. You should hold these buttons for about two seconds until the shutter signals that you’ve successfully taken a screenshot. As with hard keys, all your screenshots are located in your gallery.
One Extra Method
In addition to using the soft and hard keys, there is one extra feature that may come in really handy if you want to take snaps of your screen outside apps or web pages. This method is also universal to all Android devices, so you shouldn’t have any problems using it.
Go to the screen you want to take a screenshot of. There is no need to do any positioning because the screen snaps in place by itself.
You should press together the Home key and the Power key until you hear the shutter. The shutter signals that you’ve successfully taken a snap of your chosen screen.
How to Find the Screenshots
All the screenshots you take, regardless of the method, are located in J7 Pro’s gallery. They are in the folder named Screenshots. Similar to taking screenshots, you can locate this folder in two simple steps.
Tap on the Gallery icon on your Home screen to get inside.
Once you’ve entered the Gallery, swipe down until you reach the Screenshots folder. Tap on the folder to access the screenshots you’ve taken.
Taking quality screenshots with Samsung Galaxy J7 Pro is a walk in the park. None of the methods consists of more than a couple of steps. Also, you can easily share your screenshots via other apps or on social media.
