HTC U11 – How to Change Lock Screen
The Lock screen of your HTC U11 displays the standard notification cards, direct reply, complete with grouping, and expanded the view. You will find a camera shortcut there, too. Even though its main job is to secure access to the device so a potential thief or another unwanted person cannot access your private data, it doesn’t mean that it has to look bulky.
Your HTC U11 allows for easy customization of the Lock screen. It might be a great idea whenever you want it to fit your mood or perhaps just to get rid of the stock Lock screen design.
Keep reading to find out about the exact steps to change your HTC U11’s Lock screen wallpaper.
Changing the Wallpaper
STEP 1: Swipe up on the Home Screen to access the Settings menu.
STEP 2: Select Personalize from the menu.
STEP 3: Tap the Change Wallpaper option.
At this point, you need to select the location to pull your desired image from. You could choose any personal picture from your existing collection or go to the wallpaper gallery to select one.
STEP 4: Tap Set Wallpaper or Apply.
Here you can set wallpaper for Lock screen, Home screen, or both. Just make your selection and you are all set.
Note: The above steps only work while using the Classic Home screen layout. If you’re using an alternative layout, you may not be provided with this option.
