If you only want to use/change your passcode, you can set that up as well. Just go to Change Password in the Face ID & Passcode menu and type in a new one. In Passcode Options, you can choose between an alphanumeric, custom numeric, and a four-digit numeric passcode.

Changing the Lock Screen Wallpaper

Every new iPhone comes with a set of stunning wallpapers. The iPhone XS Max is definitely no exception, and the wallpapers really come to life on this phone’s beautiful Super Retina display. Open Settings from the Home screen.
Tap Wallpaper > Choose a New Wallpaper.
Go to the folder in which your desired wallpaper is.

Choose Set Lock Screen.

In the Wallpaper section, you’ll see a revamped collection of Still, Dynamic, and Live photos. Of course, you can choose any of the images you’ve taken or downloaded.
