How To Cancel Stitch Fix

Stitch Fix is a clothing and personal styling subscription service that helps men and women, stylistically-challenged or not, choose and receive clothes in the mail regularly that not only fit but also add style.

How To Cancel Stitch Fix

If you can’t afford a subscription or don’t feel the need for it anymore, you can cancel your Stitch Fix automatic deliveries.

You can also cancel your account if you don’t think you’ll want it in the future, but instead of canceling your Stitch account, you could reduce the shipping frequency at which you receive your shipments.

Therefore, you have three ways to cancel Stitch Fix, including:

  • Canceling your Stitch Fix account
  • Removing automatic deliveries and subscription
  • Adjusting the frequency of deliveries and subscription

How to Cancel Stitch Fix Automatic Deliveries

Regardless of your reasons, here is how to cancel automatic deliveries from Stitch Fix, giving you the option of resuming automatic deliveries in the future.

Stitch Fix is a subscription service, so you need to follow the correct procedures to cancel your subscription successfully. Fortunately, the process is relatively straightforward. You can cancel your Stitch Fix subscription from a web browser and the Stitch Fix app.

How to Cancel Stitch Fix Subscription Deliveries

  1. Sign in to your Stitch Fix account.
  2. Select “Manage automatic Fixes,” then choose “I want to stop receiving automatic Fixes.”
  3. Check the box next to “Stop receiving Fixes automatically” and click “Submit.”
Note: You can also cancel the next Fix by checking the box next to “Yes, please cancel my [month/day] Fix.”

From the Stitch Fix app:

  1. Open the Stitch Fix app and select Account.
  2. Unselect the box that says, “Save me time by sending Fixes on a schedule.”
  3. Confirm your selection.

The process will cancel the next order in line, and as long as all items dispatched have been returned, Stitch Fix will take no more payments. If another delivery is being created, you may not be able to cancel the order. If you see ‘Your Fix is in Progress,’ you can open a Stitch Fix ticket to try to cancel that order. Otherwise, return the items to Stitch when they arrive.

Stitch Fix would prefer you manage everything online or through the app, but if you need to talk to a human, you can reach Stitch customer service at (415) 882-7765.

As you may have noticed, the above process pauses your account and switches it from automatic to manual delivery but does not entirely cancel the account. You may want to use it later for a manual order. If you are confident that you don’t want to use Stitch Fix anymore, you can cancel your Stitch account.

Adjust Your Stitch Fix Subscription Frequency

The second option is to adjust the frequency at which you receive Stitch Fix shipments.

  1. Log in to your Stitch Fix account.
  2. Choose “Manage automatic Fixes” and then select “I want to change my Fix frequency.”
  3. Choose your Fix frequency from the choices displayed, then hit “Submit.”

How to Completely Cancel Your Stitch Fix Account

If you are sure that you want to cancel your Stitch Fix account altogether (not just take a break), you will need to email the company at hello@stitchfix.com and request account cancellation. You can also reach out over social media, and the support team will respond, though email is the best way to cancel your Stitch Fix account.
