How To Change Apple Watch Haptic Feedback Pressure

Posted by RecomHub on April 29, 2015

The Apple Watch has a Haptic feedback pressure feature that will alert you when you have notifications on your Apple Watch. The way that the Haptic response works is that the Apple Watch will tap your wrist, thus notifying you of an alert. For those that want to know, you can change the Apple Watch haptic feedback intensity. These tap notifications for alerts and notifications are much different than the types of vibrations you have on your iPhone.

Below we’ll explain how you can adjust the Apple Watch Haptic Feedback alert and notifications from either your Apple Watch or from your iPhone. The following instructions work for the Apple Watch Sport, Apple Watch and Apple Watch Edition.

How to change haptic intensity on Apple Watch:

  1. Go to the Apple Watch Settings
  2. Select on Sounds & Haptics
  3. Scroll down and adjust the Ringer and Alert Haptics slider

Change haptic feedback on Apple Watch from your iPhone:

  1. Turn on your iPhone
  2. Go to the Apple Watch App
  3. Select on the My Watch Tab
  4. Select on Sound & Haptics
  5. Adjust the Haptic Strength slider to your preferred level

Prominent Haptic

It’s important to note that besides the basic haptic settings, you can find a switch in both the Settings app on Apple Watch and inside the Apple Watch companion app for prominent haptic.
