How To Embed Reddit Comments On A Site

Posted by David Covington on March 25, 2015

Reddit has recently announced that it’s now possible to embed comments on to other site making it much easier to share the sites content. Instead of copying and pasting the text, users can now embed a small window into a website and link the comments directly on to the site making the task very simple.

All that is required to create the code to embed a comment is to just click on the comment’s permalink page, then select ‘embed’ to generate the code you need to copy. You also have the option to include parent comments.

According to Reddit, the embedded comments will display any edits to the original posts. But its important to note that if you want to share something that may be deleted or is time sensitive, the best option is to copy the comment or to take a screenshot of the Reddit comment to be safe.
