It’s always frustrating when losing a standard smartphone, but nothing is worse than losing your loved Apple iPhone. But the good news is that you can find your lost or stolen iPhone using your Apple Watch. Read on for more details on how to find your lost iPhone using an Apple Watch.

The Apple Watch is equipped with the ability to find your iPhone instantly. But it’s important to note that the Apple Watch tracking feature has some limitations. The Apple Watch uses Wi-Fi or about 300-foot Bluetooth connection in order to find your lost iPhone. Even though this method is not as effective as using the Find My iPhone feature it does do a great job for those that don’t have the Find My iPhone feature enabled.

This guide on how to find your lost iPhone using the Apple Watch will also work with the Apple Watch Sport, Apple Watch and Apple Watch Edition.

How to find lost iPhone using Apple Watch

  1. Go to the Apple Watch Home screen by pressing the Digital Crown.
  2. Go to the Glances page by swiping up on the Apple Watch.
  3. Swipe until you see the Settings glance.
  4. Select on the ping option-iPhone with audio lines.

After you follow the steps above, you’ll hear a loud sound of your iPhone. The great thing about this feature is that you can still find your iPhone even if it’s on silent mode.
