How To Fix Samsung Galaxy S6 Power Button Not Working

The recent release of both the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge smartphones have been a huge success. Some have even called these new flagship smartphones some of the best in 2015. But an issue that Samsung Galaxy owners have reported, is that the Samsung Galaxy S6 power button is not working. This issue has been reported to happen when pressing the power button on the side of the Galaxy S6 to wake the Galaxy and it doesn’t respond. Even though the buttons light up the screen, the Galaxy S6 doesn’t turn on when hitting the power button. Also it seems that this problems happens when you get a call and the Galaxy S6 rings, but the screen stays black and is not responding.

You can use several different troubleshooting solutions to try to fix a broken Galaxy S6 power button. It’s possible that this issue happens after you install a problematic app. It’s recommended to try to bring your phone in to Safe Mode and test the power button (Learn how to get Galaxy S6 in and out of Safe Mode).
