How To Get HTC One M9 In Safe Mode

A common question that we get asked, is how to get HTC One M9 in Safe Mode? The good news is that there are two different ways that you can get the HTC One M9 into Safe Mode, and we’ll explain this below. One reason that you would want to boot a HTC One M9 into safe mode is when you have troubleshooting issues with individual apps and want to fix issues that relate to apps that either freeze, reset or run slow. When the smartphone is in Safe Mode, this will disable all third-party services and apps until the HTC One M9 is out of Safe Mode. The following is a guide for those that want to know how to start my HTC One M9 in Safe Mode.

 

How to get HTC One M9 in Safe Mode Method 1:

  1. Turn “OFF” the HTC One M9
  2. Once it’s completely off, turn the Galaxy S6 back “ON”
  3. While the HTC One M9 is booting, hold the home button
  4. In the bottom left corner of the screen, you’ll see safe mode

Boot HTC One M9 in Safe Mode Method 2:

  1. Turn “OFF” the HTC One M9
  2. Press and hold the Power/Lock button at the same time until you see the “HTC One M9″ logo
  3. When the logo shows up, immediately hold the Volume Down button, while releasing the Power button
  4. Keep holding the Volume Down until your phone finishes rebooting
  5. If it was loaded successful, a “Safe Mode” will show on the bottom left corner of the screen
  6. Let go of the Volume Down button
  7. To exit “Safe Mode” press the Power/Lock key and then touch Restart
