How To Set Favorite Contacts On Galaxy S8 And Galaxy S8 Plus

The Samsung Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 has been great so far but a favorite cool feature that it has is that you are able to “Favorite” or star a contact that you wish to find their information and reach a lot faster. If you favorite your contact, you will not have to go through your long list of contacts trying to find them on your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus.

You can be more efficient if you create and use your favorites. We will show you how to create favorites on the Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus in a guide below.

You may be familiar with seeing some contacts show up when you go to your contacts if you have had an Android device previously. We will discuss how you can remove or add certain people to your favorite list. Below is a guide on how you can set favorite contacts and star for your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus.

Starring Your Favorite Contacts On Galaxy S8 And Galaxy S8 Plus

  1. Make sure your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus is turned on.
  2. Navigate to the “Phone” app.
  3. Navigate to the “Contacts” section.
  4. You can star or favorite whichever contact you want by choosing them.
  5. From the red circle, click on the “star”

You can choose the name on your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus in which you want to create or set a favorite on your contact list. You have to locate the star after the information on the specific person shows up. The person that you selected will be added to your favorites once you click on the star.

However, you won’t be able to specifically order your favorites so that the people that you want on the top will be shown first but rather your favorites will be in an alphabetical order on your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus.

You can uncheck the star from a person you wish to remove off your favorites list by going to that person’s contacts. For more extreme measures, you can just delete the contact to take them off your favorites list.
