How To Split Screen On Galaxy S8 And Galaxy S8 Plus

You may have recently purchased the Samsung Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus and you did not know how you could use the Multi Window Mode or Split Screen View.

You can learn how to have multiple apps running and open simultaneously by using the Split Screen option for your Galaxy S8 Plus below. You must first enable the Multi Window and Split Screen modes in your settings to use them for your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus.

You will learn in the guide below how you can initially turn Multi Window Mode or Split Screen View on to use them on your Samsung Galaxy S8 Plus.

How you can Split Screen on Galaxy S8 Plus

To use the feature of Split Screen or Multi Window, you will most likely have to enable it on the Settings menu. You can use the instructions that are below to learn how to do this.

  1. Make sure your Galaxy S8 Plus is turned on.
  2. Navigate to your Settings menu.
  3. Navigate to your Device and find the Multi Window that is there.
  4. Turn On the Multi Window by toggling it which will be at the top of the screen on the right.
  5. Check the box so you can decide what to put on the Multi Window Mode, which is close to the Open option in the Multi Window view.

You should check and make sure that you notice the half or grey semi circle on your screen once you have turned Split Screen View or Multi Window Mode on. This shows that the settings for the Split Screen Mode have been enabled on your Galaxy S8 Plus and you can now use it.

You must first click on the semicircle using your finger to use the features so that the multi window will come towards the top. You can then move the icons to the window from the menu so it will open. The good things about this feature is that you can change the size of the window by clicking and holding the middle of the with the circle and then putting the screen wherever you want on your Galaxy S8 or Galaxy S8 Plus.
