How To Start Xperia XZ In Safe Mode

For those that want to know how to start Sony Xperia XZ in Safe Mode, we’ll teach you two different ways that you can get the Sony Xperia XZ into Safe Mode very easily. The main reason that you would want to boot Xperia XZ into safe mode is when you have troubleshooting issues with individual apps and want to fix issues that relate to apps that either freeze, reset or run slow. When the smartphone is in Safe Mode, this will disable all third-party services and apps until the Xperia XZ is out of Safe Mode. The following is a guide for those that want to know how to start my Xperia XZ in Safe Mode.

 

Boot Xperia XZ in Safe Mode Method 1:

  1. Turn “OFF” the Xperia XZ
  2. Press and hold the Power/Lock button at the same time until you see the “Xperia XZ″ logo
  3. When the logo shows up, immediately hold the Volume Down button, while releasing the Power button
  4. Keep holding the Volume Down until your phone finishes rebooting
  5. If it was loaded successful, a “Safe Mode” will show on the bottom left corner of the screen
  6. Let go of the Volume Down button
  7. To exit “Safe Mode” press the Power/Lock key and then touch Restart

 

Boot Xperia XZ in Safe Mode Method 2:

  1. Turn “OFF” the Xperia XZ
  2. Once it’s completely off, turn the Xperia XZ back “ON”
  3. While the Xperia XZ is booting, hold the home button
  4. In the bottom left corner of the screen, you’ll see safe mode
