How To Unlock Activation Lock iPhone
How do you unlock the activation lock on an iPhone without the password for iCloud? There is an anti-theft feature by Apple in iOS 7 called Find My iPhone, with a service that ties your Apple ID to your iPhone, iPad, or iPod Touch if it’s lost or stolen. These devices that have Find My iPhone activated can’t have any of their Apple devices restored without the login password to your Apple ID.
This Activation lock created by Apple was created to help track your iPhone and to help reduce the number of stolen iPhones being sold on the black market. Some negatives of this service are for iPhone owners who have purchased their iPhone or iPad from a third party reseller who had activated Find My iPhone and don’t know the old password to turn off the Activation lock, thus having iPhone iCloud locked.
How to Disable iOS 7 Activation Lock
There is a bug in iOS 7 that will allow anyone to disable Find My iPhone and bypass the Activation Lock without a password. This video from YouTube shows you how to bypass the iPhone iCloud lock with step by step instructions on how to turn off Find My iPhone:
When you go to restart your iPhone, you’ll be asked to go to iCloud settings and turn Find My iPhone off by entering the correct password. But if you don’t know the password, select Delete Account and turn off Find My iPhone at the same time, and then turn your iPhone off. After you turn your iPhone back on, the Activation Lock should be deleted and now your iPhone is not locked to a specific Apple ID.
Another method to remove an Apple ID is by calling the person or third party company that you purchased the iPhone from and asking them to go to their iCloud account and remove the iPhone from their Apple ID. Again, if you can’t get in contact with the original iPhone owners, then the video shown above is the fastest and easiest way deactivate Find My iPhone without the password.
