Christmas. the Super Bowl, Fashion Week in New York, Taco Tuesday… Few things in life are as highly anticipated as television premier season every Fall. There isn’t much we look forward to more. Many of your favorite shows make their return for another season, and a ton of new TV shows arrive, all ready to vie for a spot in your DVR queue. Who knows, one of them could be the next Grey’s Anatomy or Ally McBeal, some of our favorite shows of all time.

So what’s new on the schedule this fall? The folks over at Cinema Blend have put together a comprehensive list of all returning and new TV show premieres you can expect over the next few months. Here’s a rundown of some of the new shows premiering on the major networks, and what we expect based on the information available so far.

New TV Shows Coming to ABC

  • American Housewife
    • Premieres: Tuesday, October 11th at 8:30 p.m.
    • Synopsis: Katie Mixon stars as Katie Otto, an unapologetic mother of three raising her family in the wealthy town of Westport, Connecticut that’s full of “perfect” families.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Meh.
  • Conviction
    • Premieres: Monday, October 3rd at 10:00 p.m.
    • Synopsis: Former ne’er-do-well first daughter Hayes Morrison (Hayley Atwell) gets blackmailed into working for New York District Attorney Wayne Wallis’ (Eddie Cahill) Conviction Integrity Unit, where she works to overturn wrongful convictions.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Meh.
  • Designated Survivor
    • Premieres: Wednesday, September 21st at 10:00 p.m.
    • Synopsis: Kiefer Sutherland stars as Tom Kirkman, a lower cabinet member who becomes president after an attack on Washington kills everyone ahead of him in the line of succession.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Jack Bauer as President? Yeah, we’re in.
  • Notorious
    • Premieres: Thursday, September 22nd at 9:00 p.m.
    • Synopsis: Inspired by the lives of criminal defense attorney Mark Geragos and cable news producer Wendy Walker, the drama examines the 24-hour news cycle and the relationship between the media and criminal law.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Mark Geragos the TV show? Pass.
  • Speechless
    • Premieres: Wednesday, September 21st at 8:30 pm.
    • Synopsis: Minnie Driver stars as Maya DiMeo, a mother of three, one of whom is a special needs child.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Meh.

New TV Shows Coming to CBS

  • Bull
    • Premieres: Tuesday, September 20th at 9:00 p.m.
    • Synopsis: NCIS alum Michael Weatherly stars as Dr. Phil McGraw in a show which will follow the controversial television star’s early career as a trial consultant. McGraw will produce with his son Jay.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Sounds like loads of ‘Bull.’
  • The Great Indoors
    • Premieres: Thursday, October 27th at 8:30 p.m.
    • Synopsis: Joel McHale stars as an adventure reporter who must adapt to his new job managing millennials in the digital department of a magazine.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Joel McHale is super funny and millennials are easy to make fun of. If you need a new sitcom in your life, this could be worth a look.
  • Kevin Can Wait
    • Premieres: Monday, September 19th at 8:30 p.m.
    • Synopsis: Kevin James returns to CBS, this time playing a retired cop who realizes that home life is tougher than anything he faced on the street.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Meh. Have you seen Mall Cop 2?
  • MacGyver
    • Premieres: Friday, September 23rd at 8:00 p.m.
    • Synopsis: Lucas Till plays the titular problem-solver in this reboot of the 1980s classic show, which follows a younger 20-something MacGyver as he starts a clandestine organization to prevent disasters from happening.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Uh, what’s next, an A-Team reboot?
  • Man With a Plan
    • Premieres: Monday, October 24th at 8:30 p.m.
    • Synopsis: A contractor (Matt LeBlanc) becomes a stay-at-home dad when his wife returns to work and discovers that his kids are the worst.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Meh.
  • Pure Genius
    • Premieres: Thursday, October 27th at 10:00 p.m.
    • Synopsis: A Silicon Valley millionaire (Augustus Prew) taps a veteran surgeon with a controversial past (Dermot Mulroney) to head a hospital that will employ groundbreaking but potentially risky new procedures.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Doesn’t sound like it will last a season.
  • Training Day
    • Premieres: Midseason
    • Synopsis: Based on the 2001 movie starring Denzel Washington and Ethan Hawke, this reboot series picks up 15 years later and revolves around a young idealistic LAPD police officer (Justin Cornwell) who is partnered with a morally questionable detective (Bill Paxton).
    • HT Guys Reaction: No doubt, this is worth a look, but it could easily go horribly wrong.

New TV Shows Coming to FOX

  • 24: Legacy
    • Premieres: Midseason, Mondays at 8:00 p.m.
    • Synopsis: Former Army Ranger Eric Carter (Corey Hawkins), the new Jack Bauer, turns to the CTU to try to stop a terrorist attack. The series will adopt the same real-time format as the original series, but will consist of only 12 episodes like the 2014 event series 24: Live Another Day.
    • HT Guys Reaction: You had us at ’24.’
  • The Exorcist
    • Premieres: Friday, September 23rd at 9:00 p.m.
    • Synopsis: This horror remake follows two men who try to help the Rance family’s case of demonic possession. Geena Davis stars as Ellen Burstyn from the original film.
    • HT Guys Reaction: We would be surprised if this lasts a full season.
  • Lethal Weapon
    • Premieres: Wednesday, September 21st at 8:00 p.m.
    • Synopsis: A remake of the beloved film franchise, Damon Wayans is your new Roger Murtaugh of the LAPD and Clayne Crawford is your new Martin Riggs, a former Navy SEAL who moves from Texas to L.A. after losing his wife and child.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Heck yeah! Definitely not too old for this sh…show.
  • Pitch
    • Premieres: Thursday, September 22nd at 9:00 p.m.
    • Synopsis: Ginny Baker (Kylie Bunbury) defies the odds to become the first woman to play in the MLB when she joins the San Diego Padres as pitcher.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Meh.
  • Prison Break
    • Premieres: Midseason, Tuesdays at 9:00 p.m.
    • Synopsis: A reboot of the original show, the event series picks up after Michael’s (Wentworth Miller) apparent death in the 2009 finale, when clues surface that Michael might actually be alive.
    • HT Guys Reaction: If you were into Prison Break during its original run, this is definitely worth a shot.
  • Son of Zoro
    • Premieres: Sunday, September 25th at 8:30 p.m.
    • Synopsis: This live-action/animated hybrid comedy features Jason Sudeikis as the voice of the animated title character who returns to Earth for the first time in 10 years from the land of Zephyria and tries to reconnect with his human son Alan (Johnny Pemberton) and ex-wife Edie (Cheryl Hines).
    • HT Guys Reaction: Jason Sudeikis. ‘Nuff said.

New TV Shows Coming to NBC

  • The Blacklist: Redemption
    • Premieres: Midseason
    • Synopsis: This spin-off of The Blacklist will follow Tom Keen (Ryan Eggold) as he teams up with Susan “Scottie” Hargrave (Famke Janssen), whom he discovered is his mother on the mothership. Scottie is the head of Grey Matters, a covert mercenary task force that handles cases the government won’t touch.
    • HT Guys Reaction: The Blacklist is a solid show. This could work.
  • Chicago Justice
    • Premieres: Midseason, Sundays at 9:00 p.m.
    • Synopsis: The fourth series in Dick Wolf’s lucrative Chicago franchise takes viewers inside the Windy City’s State’s Attorney’s office. The series was introduced as a backdoor pilot in an episode of Chicago P.D. in May.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Worth a look if you’re into the Chicago franchise. Plus, points for any show featuring Apollo Creed.
  • Emerald City
    • Premieres: Midseason
    • Synopsis: A dark, edgy reimagining of the Land of Oz book series, with Adria Arjona as Dorothy Gale and Vincent D’Onofrio as The Wizard.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Maybe, if only to see how The Kingpin pulls off the role of The Wizard.
  • The Good Place
    • Premieres: Monday, September 19th at 10:00 p.m.
    • Synopsis: When Eleanor (Kristen Bell) realizes that she’s not a very good person, she gets a chance to start anew with the help of Michael (Ted Danson) in the afterlife.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Ted Danson? A Cheers reboot, maybe. Otherwise, pass.
  • Taken
    • Premieres: Midseason, Mondays at 10:00 p.m.
    • Synopsis: A prequel to the movie franchise, Clive Standen plays a young version of Liam Neeson’s ass-kicking CIA agent Bryan Mills.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Young Liam Neeson? We’re all in!
  • This is Us
    • Premieres: Tuesday, September 20th at 10:00 p.m.
    • Synopsis: The ensemble dramedy follows a group of people who share the same birthday and whose lives intersect in various ways.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Meh.
  • Timeless
    • Premieres: Monday, October 3rd at 10:00 p.m.
    • Synopsis: A trio is tasked with traveling through time to catch a criminal who stole a time machine that could catastrophically alter history.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Perhaps. We’ll give it an episode or two.

New TV Shows Coming to The CW

  • Frequency
    • Premieres: Wednesday, October 5th at 9:00 p.m.
    • Synopsis: A remake of the 2000 film starring Dennis Quaid and Jim Caviezel, the series will star Peyton List as a detective in 2016 who discovers she can speak via a ham radio to her estranged father, who died in 1996 and was also a detective. They team up to solve a cold case with a “butterfly effect” on the present day.
    • HT Guys Reaction: It was a decent movie, so we’ll give it a shot.
  • No Tomorrow
    • Premieres: Monday, October 10th at 9:00 p.m.
    • Synopsis: Based on a Brazilian format, this comedy focuses on a procurement manager (Tori Anderson) who falls for a man (Josh Sasse) who lives every day like it’s his last. Together, they try to fulfill every item on their bucket lists.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Meh.

New TV Shows Coming to Netflix

  • Marvel’s Luke Cage
    • Premieres: Friday, September 30th at 12:01 a.m. Pacific
    • Synopsis: Mike Colter stars as Luke Cage, a former convict who now fights crime. When a sabotaged experiment gives him super strength and unbreakable skin, Luke Cage becomes a fugitive attempting to rebuild his life in Harlem and must soon confront his past and fight a battle for the heart of his city.
    • HT Guys Reaction: Based on the Marvel and Netflix track records, we’ll be streaming this one for sure.
