Samsung Galaxy S6: How To Save Contacts To SIM Card

If you have a Samsung Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge, it’s a good idea to know how to save contacts on SIM card, instead of having saving the contacts on your Samsung smartphone. The following will teach you how you can get contacts saved on SIM card following the instructions below.

How to save contacts to SIM card on Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge:

  1. Turn on your smartphone.
  2. Go to the home screen and select on Contacts.
  3. Tap on “More”, then “Settings” and “Import/ Export Contacts” finally “Export.”
  4. Tap on “Sim card” for destination that you want contacts saved too.

After you’ve done this, the SIM card is the destination where the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge will save contacts. This will only save the name and telephone number of the person that is part of the contact. Other info besides name and telephone won’t be saved on to the SIM card and just on the smartphone.
