Samsung Galaxy S6 Parallax Effect (Moving Background)

The recent release of the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge has lot of new features that Samsung users like, but one feature that is still the same from Galaxy S5 is the parallax effect feature, which makes the background on the Galaxy S6 move. What parallax effect does is give your Samsung Galaxy S6’s home screen a 3D look without actually being 3D. So when you move the screen around it looks like the apps or wallpaper is moving around in the background.

For those interested in getting the most out of your Samsung device, then make sure to check out Samsung’s Galaxy S6 phone casewireless charging padexternal portable battery pack, and the Fitbit Charge HR Wireless Activity Wristband for the ultimate experience with your Samsung device.

But this feature simply uses the gyroscope and accelerometer together to create the illusion like it’s actually 3D. Even though it’s cool at first, some users get tired of it and want to disable the parallax effect feature on the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge. Currently Galaxy S6 users can’t disable the Parallax effect with smartphones running Android Lollipop version 5.0.2.Many are hoping that Samsung will add an option to disable the Parallax effect in a new firmware update in the future for the Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge.If you like to know more information about the parallax effect, then you can read about it on Wikipedia
