Instagram for PC

Instagram on PC desktop

Instagram is the best app for photo sharing, in our opinion. It’s great to use on your phone, but sometimes it would be nice to be able to see pictures on a larger screen, or be able to post without using a tiny keyboard. Or maybe you just want to be able to use Instagram without being tied to your smartphone.

Did you ever wish you could access it from your computer and not have to rely on your mobile device to use it? Well, we’ve got an ace up our sleeve and we’re going to tell you how to get Instagram and use it from your PC. Stick with us; we’ll show you the ropes.

Instagram on the Web

The first way to access Instagram from a PC is by navigating to their website. Once you’ve landed at, as long as you’ve already got an account, you can just log in. Otherwise, what are you waiting for? Sign up.  Instagram website

You can view your Instagram photos, your Instagram feed, edit your bio, change your profile picture, and check your comments or likes others have given you for pictures you’ve posted. You’ll also be able to like and leave comments on other Instagram accounts you follow. Also, you can do a search to find accounts to follow, or to find something specific. That’s about the extent of what you can do from the Instagram website. You can’t, however, take pictures from your PC and post them.

So, even though you can do some things on the Instagram website, you can’t do as much as you can from the mobile version of Instagram. It’s still fine if you’re more of an Instagram viewer versus a taker and poster of photos. It covers the basics, at least.
