The Best Android Tablet With Keyboard in 2022

These days, tablets and smartphones can do what most desktop computers can. It’s no surprise that some people prefer to use a tablet instead of a laptop. Add a keyboard to the tablet, and it makes for an efficient portable computer without the bulk. In this list, we have rounded up the best Android tablets with keyboards you can buy today. We’ve considered the specs, appearance, and price point that would appeal to different user types, so you get a wide variety of choices.

01 Samsung Galaxy Tab S7

The Samsung Galaxy Tab S7 is a mid-range tablet that has top-notch performance and a beautiful design. Running Android 10 on an octa-core processor (3.09+2.4G+1.8GHz), this tablet delivers PC performance in a portable form. The screen is a sleek edge-to-edge design, making it great for photo and video editing and digital art creation. The power button doubles as a fingerprint sensor.

The keyboard comes as a separate purchase, but it quickly transforms the tablet into a mini desktop computer. The Book Cover Keyboard attaches to the tablet magnetically and a kickstand holds up the tablet for when you want to type a document or watch a movie. The keyboard has been redesigned to feature larger keys and a more spacious trackpad. With multi-touch support, 16 function keys, and a magnetic back cover, the Samsung Tab S7 keyboard is a great accessory to the tablet.

While it has all that’s needed for a premium device, the S7 does not have a headphone jack, and even with the right USB-C connector, not all headphones are supported. One workaround would be to purchase Bluetooth earbuds instead.

  • The keyboard can unhinge on non-flat surfaces

Specification

Built with a polished and refined aluminum unibody, the Tab P11 Plus looks like it costs more than it actually does. Playing music and listening to podcasts with this device will be a pleasure with its Dolby Atmos Running on Android 11. The P11 can easily go on desktop mode with the ultra-thin keyboard. Lenovo provides an optional detachable keyboard and the Lenovo Precision Pen 2 with the Tab P11 if you wish to maximize productivity using this tablet.

Although it has 64 GB of storage, it can be expanded up to 1 TB via the microSD slot.

For Amazon device users, the Fire HD 10 will be right at home with built-in Alexa support and Amazon App Store. For a $219.99 productivity bundle, the Fire HD 10 comes with a detachable keyboard and a 12-month subscription to Microsoft 365 Personal. The keyboard connects using Bluetooth and has its own USB-C charger. With a full charge, the keyboard lasts around a week of moderate use.

The 2000 x 1200 (WUXGA+) TFT display makes creating and consuming content a breeze. This tablet includes a stylus pen for digital notes and art-making on the go. Unlike the Galaxy Tab S7, the Tab S6 Lite has a 3.5 mm audio jack.
