The Best LG TVs in 2022

LG is one of the leading brands when it comes to home appliances. While they do a wide selection of appliances pretty well, people love the tech brand for their amazing TV selection. Whether it’s for entertainment or work purposes, getting an LG TV is one of the best investments you can make. These are TVs that are built well and come packed with amazing features.

Finding one for your home can be tough. What’s even tougher is that LG creates TVs for various purposes. If you want to see which LG TV is truly worth getting, you’ve come to the right place. We’re going to list down the 6 best LG TVs that you should invest in. There’s a TV for everyone on this list.

01 LG C1 OLED

The best LG TV that you can buy right now is the LG C1 OLED. It’s the culmination of LG’s best efforts in a package that’s not sold at an expensive price point. Despite being cheaper than other high-end TVs, the LG C1 OLED is still worth getting. The LG C1 OLED serves as the successor to the LG CX, which itself is an amazing LG TV that’s a little further down this list. When it comes to every aspect there is, the LG C1 OLED is able to do one step better than the LG CX, which is not an easy feat, to be honest. The result is an amazing TV that packs in everything you’d want in a smart TV. It’s fast, offers a crisp display, and it comes in an amazingly built frame. The LG C1 OLED comes with an amazing OLED display. When it comes to the feature quality itself, the screen comes with an infinite contrast ratio, amazingly vivid colors, and great blacks as well. Display-wise, the LG C1 OLED offers the best that LG has to offer. While LG does have other better screens, those are sold at higher price points that you might not be as keen on shelling out. Aside from the amazing display, the LG C1 OLED also has one of the best processors for LG TVs. It has the a9 Gen 4 AI processor. As one of the latest that LG has to offer in terms of processors, the a9 Gen 4 AI is fast, long-lasting, and great for upscaling. The OS of the LG C1 OLED is the same that LG uses for its other TVs too. Surprisingly, the webOS of the LG C1 OLED is fast and responsive. When it comes to the functionalities of a smart TV, the LG C1 OLED definitely delivers. The LG C1 OLED is clearly the best LG TV that’s out there right now. It comes in a variety of sizes too, so it can fit your needs very easily whatever they may be.

02 LG G1 Gallery OLED

If you’re looking for an LG TV that offers the best display possible, then it might be the LG G1 Gallery that fits your needs. As the name suggests, the LG G1 Gallery OLED is one that you could definitely place in a gallery thanks to the quality of the picture that it delivers. The gallery name speaks a lot about what the LG G1 Gallery OLED is all about. However, it has one glaring issue, the LG G1 Gallery OLED is designed to be wall-mounted. It doesn’t come with a stand, so if that’s what you’re after, then the LG G1 Gallery OLED is not the TV for you. The real start of the LG G1 Gallery OLED is its OLED Evo technology. This panel technology takes the best out of what we know about OLED without increasing the blooming effects. Additionally, the chances of burn-in are very low thanks to the new technology. The LG G1 Gallery OLED is definitely the TV that can help revolutionize OLED technology, and it can be something that will help create a better future for OLED TVs out there. While expensive, the LG G1 Gallery OLED definitely hits the mark on various aspects. When it comes to the display, the LG G1 Gallery OLED is perfect and hard to deny. As for the audio, the LG G1 Gallery OLED is equipped with the Dolby Atmos sound system, which is praised for its bass and overall quality. Overall, the LG G1 Gallery OLED is the perfect LG TV out there. The good news is that despite the stand limitations, there are still some ways to enjoy the LG G1 Gallery OLED unmounted. It’s an extra investment, but it’s one that’s worth it.

  • No stand included

03 LG CX OLED

The LG CX OLED is the predecessor of the C1 and the G1. Despite being the lesser of the two models, the LG CX OLED still delivers on many aspects that you’d want to see on a TV. There are certainly no major downsides to the LG CX OLED right now. What’s really great about the LG CX OLED is that, since it’s an older model, it’s far cheaper than the newer models today. Don’t worry about the LG CX OLED being a bit older than the other models though. It’s one of the best TVs that LG has ever produced. This old TV has a wide selection of amazing features that make it outstanding, even by today’s standards. Those features include an amazing OLED panel, 4K resolution, a good selection of ports, Dolby Atmos audio, and more. You still get what you pay for with the LG CX OLED even if there are newer and better LG TVs out there. The LG CX OLED despite being old does offer top-class picture quality. It’s all thanks to its a9 Gen 3 processor and OLED panel that provide amazing contrast. As for the audio, the LG CX OLED delivers rich sound from its 2.2 speakers. It’s a great TV all in all. In fact, it’s still one of the best that you can get.

Pros

  • Great contrast and color
  • Great build

Cons

  • Pricey

  • Price $2,309.99

04 LG BX OLED

The thing about OLED panels is that they deliver some of the brightest and best displays that you can get from a TV. On the other hand, they can be rather expensive too. With the LG BX OLED, you’re getting the cheapest OLED panel around. The LG BX OLED launched in late 2020. When it launched, it quickly became one of the most popular LG TVs around due to the fact that it’s offering an OLED panel at a very low cost compared to its brothers and sisters within the LG line. Of course, as expected from a budget-friendly OLED TV, there are a few compromises that the LG BX OLED comes with. In this case, that compromise comes in the form of a less capable a7 Gen 3 processor. The a7 Gen 3 processor doesn’t offer a lot in terms of downgrades compared to other processors from LG’s recent TVs. Scaling is not as good as the more recent models but the difference is barely noticeable.

The LG BX OLED also delivers most of the perks that you can expect from more recent LG TV versions. Those include deep blacks, great pixel control, and even access to the amazing webOS smart TV platform. As we’ve said before, the only real downside of the LG BX OLED is that it doesn’t have great processing. Looking beyond this issue, the LG BX OLED is still a great TV if you’re looking for something that enhances your gaming needs and viewing needs at the same time.

The LG BX OLED isn’t perfect, but for an OLED panel at this price, you shouldn’t expect anything less. You’re getting what you pay for, and you can’t get a better looking OLED screen at a lower price than this.

Pros

  • Very affordable 4K
  • Incredible color contrast

Cons

  • Less advanced processing

Specification

  • Price $1,196.00
  • Screen Size 55 inches
  • Screen type OLED
  • Resolution 4K

05 LG Nano90

While LG’s OLED panels are definitely taking the market by storm, you still shouldn’t overlook their other offerings. In that regard, one of the best they have that’s not an OLED screen is the LG Nano90. For the most part, the LG Nano90 is an amazing LCD TV. LCD TVs might be a bit outdated by today’s standards, but if you want an excellent TV that delivers a great viewing experience while keeping your budget intact, then you can still make do with the LG Nano90. It’s the best budget-friendly option unless you’re really going for an OLED TV. When it comes to display quality, the LG Nano90 does deliver what you’d expect from an LCD screen. You aren’t getting the same fidelity as you would on an OLED panel, but there’s nothing that’s too jarring for your eye. In fact, it can be hard for some people to see the real difference between LCD screens and OLED panels. The LG Nano90 might be using an older screen technology, but it still looks as good as you’d expect it to be. The contrast is vastly improved with the LG Nano90. It’s not on par with OLED screens yet but the difference isn’t too bothering. At this price range, the LG Nano90 proves that you can get a decent smart TV without losing a lot of money. In terms of build and quality, this is still a TV from LG, so you’re getting your money’s worth. The LG Nano90 is your go-to screen if you’re on a budget.

Pros

  • Great budget friendly alternative
  • Improved black levels
  • Great viewing angles

Cons

  • No HDR10+ support

Specification

  • Price $1,196.99
  • Screen Size 55 inches
