The Best Fire TVs in 2022

Amazon’s Fire TV platform is a good choice if you’re looking to expand your entertainment viewing capacity. It’s an amazing device that allows for a variety of streaming platforms. Whether it’s for home use or an entertainment room for your business, there’s no doubting that Fire TVs are going to be well worth the purchase.

There have been lots of amazing Fire TVs as of late, and it can be tough to pick one that can suit your needs. If you want to get the most out of your purchase, then you’ve come to the right place. We’ve got a solid selection of the best fire TVs currently and these will fit all budget sizes out there. Here are those TVs we’ve found so far.

01 Amazon Fire TV Omni

If you’re looking for a Fire TV, you don’t need to look far. Amazon delivers some amazing TVs from their warehouse, and in our opinion, the best Fire TV that you can get right now has to be the Amazon Fire TV Omni.

Amazon concentrated primarily on the screen as the main design element. It comes with only a single fire logo centered on a minimal lower bezel. A square box centered on the bottom of the television contains a switch to disable the built-in microphone. The Omni supports hands-free control when Alexa listens through the microphone below. If you are a Prime Video, Fire OS, or even an Amazon Alexa user, you will be right at home with this TV. If you purchased Omni through Amazon.com, it will come linked to your account with an intuitive setup.

The Amazon Fire TV Omni is cheap, filled with amazing features, and, most importantly, delivers quality entertainment. There are a lot of things to love about this Fire TV

Pros

  • Affordable
  • Can be hands-free with Alexa
  • Dolby Vision support in large models

Cons

  • Subpar video quality

Specification

  • Price $369.99
  • Resolution 4K UHD
  • Screen Size 55 inches
  • Refresh rate 60 Hz
  • Weight 25 lbs

02 Amazon Fire TV Series-4

The Amazon Fire TV Series-4 is a good budget option too. Like the previous TV, this one packs a lot of great features and amenities that will make your purchase well worth it. A lot of people seem to think that the Series-4 is one of the best that Amazon has right now, and it’s hard to argue with them.

The Amazon Fire TV 4 Series is an entry-level 4k TV. That shouldn’t be surprising though considering the price of the TV. This TV launched alongside the Fire TV Omni; it’s one of the first Amazon-branded TVs. The VA panel provides deep black, but it works best in dark rooms as it might not be bright enough for you to see through the glare of a bright room. The input lag is pretty small, but it does not support advanced game features. The Fire TV Smart interface is easy to use and offers a variety of additional apps. It has a large compatibility with apps, so you’ll likely find your favorite streaming service on the 4-Series.

This Amazon Fire TV isn’t perfect. There are a few downsides to it. It has poor viewing angles, mediocre gradation processing, and slow response times. It has terrible accuracy and does not support calibration, so there is no way to fix the problem.

Overall, the Amazon Fire TV Series-4 is a great TV with a few shortcomings. Those shortcomings are minimal as a whole, and the Amazon Fire TV Series-4 is a great buy if you’re looking for a new smart TV.

Pros

  • Excellent colors and contrast
  • Fair price
  • Good for gaming

Cons

  • Narrow viewing angles

Specification

  • Price $349.99
  • Resolution 4K UHD
  • Screen Size 55 inches
  • Refresh rate 60 Hz
  • Weight 25 lbs

03 Insignia F-30

The Insignia F-30 is undoubtedly one of the cheapest Amazon Fire TVs right now. Don’t let the price fool you though as this TV is jam-packed with amazing features and additions despite the pricing. The TV is covered with a dark plastic case that you probably won’t see in pricier TVs. It has a relatively thick, half-inch bezel around the edge. This Fire TV comes equipped with 3 HDMI ports, one of which is an ARC, allowing for smooth integration to a soundbar.

Last year’s version of the Insignia was an astonishing Fire TV. It was fantastic when it came to features, but that’s not all. The TV wasn’t overly expensive either. The Insignia F30 has gone a few steps beyond its predecessor in terms of quality. It produces a sharp image overall; however, it requires some tweaking of the settings at first. It’s not a TV that you might consider high-end. However, despite its shortcomings, a lot of people still continue to love and enjoy this TV. If you don’t want to spend too much on a TV, but you’re looking for something with great functionality, then the Insignia F-30 might just do the trick. It’s an impressive TV through and through and it’s easy to see why it’s considered one of the best.

Pros

  • Good contrast ratio
  • Good value for money
  • Good display

Cons

  • Narrow viewing angles

Specification

  • Price $299.99
  • Resolution 4K UHD
  • Screen Size 43 inches
  • Refresh rate 60 Hz
  • Weight 17.2 lbs

04 Toshiba C350

Here in 4th place, we have the Toshiba C350. As one of the tried and trusted names in the appliance industry, you are getting nothing but the best with the Toshiba C350. It might not be as popular as other options out there, but it does come with everything you need.

The C350 looks amazingly stylish for a TV that doesn’t cost a ton of money. The TV’s top and sides have no bezels and are only bordered by a slim, plastic band. A thin strip of stylish metal can be seen along the bottom edge of the screen. Both the LED and the infrared receiver of the TV are located in a small transparent housing just at the bottom of the band. Behind it is the small power/input button.

The whole thing rests on two V-shaped metal legs near the edge of the screen (it can also be wall-mounted). All ports are in a strange position, located at the back of the TV. There are also slots with side-mounted ports. The TV comes with a total of 4 HDMI ports as well as 2 USB ports located on the far left. Aside from this, the TV also has optical audio output, an Ethernet port, and an antenna/cable port point in the same location.

This amazing and cheap TV also uses Amazon’s Fire TV platform. As expected of a TV of this caliber, the platform delivers an easy-to-use interface and smart features. Additionally, the TV also behaves like the Amazon Fire TV Stick 4K with input options and apps. With the exception of Amazon Prime Video, most of the well-known streaming names can be found on this TV. You can expect to find Disney +, Twitch, Netflix, Apple TV, HBO Max, and even YouTube. Additionally, you also have access to thousands of apps from various niches and genres.

The Toshiba C350 is undoubtedly one of the cheapest and best Fire TVs around right now. It’s packed with amazing features that will help you get the most for your money.

Pros

  • Suprisingly good game mode
  • Support for Dolby Vision
  • Good value for money

Cons

  • Can't do 4K at 120 fps for gaming

Specification

  • Price $339.99
  • Resolution 4K UHD
  • Screen Size 55 inches
  • Refresh rate 60 Hz
  • Weight 10.21kg
