How To Fix No Service On OnePlus 5

One of the common issues that owners of the OnePlus 5 have been complaining about is the message that comes up on their phone saying “No Service”. The reason for this issue is because you have not registered your device to a network thereby showing the ‘No Signal’ error.

Issues That Can Cause OnePlus 5 No Service Error

The main cause of the No service error is because you have switched off the radio signal of your device. The radio signal of OnePlus 5 sometimes switches off itself when there is an issue with the WiFi and GPS.

Fixing OnePlus 5 No Service

You can follow the tips below to solve the “No Service” issue on your OnePlus 5:

  1. Locate the Dial pad
  2. Type in this code *#*#4636#*#* (You do not need to press the send button, the service mode will automatically come up)
  3. Enable Service mode
  4. Click on “Device information” or “Phone information”
  5. Click on Run Ping test
  6. Touch the Turn Radio Off button and  your OnePlus 5 will restart
  7. Click on reboot

Fix IMEI Number

Another reason for a No service error is when there is an issue with the IMEI number of your OnePlus 5. If the IMEI number is unknown or has been blacklisted, your OnePlus 5 will not bring up any signal.
