Posted by Recomhub Tips on January 7, 2016

When you connect your Samsung Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge through Bluetooth, you’ll see a name for your device when it’s running Android 6.0 Marshmallow. This is also the case when you connect your Galaxy S6 or Galaxy S6 Edge to the computer and the name of your device will show up saying “Samsung Galaxy S6″ or “Samsung Galaxy S6 Edge.”

For those that don’t want to see the generic name for your smartphone show up, you can customize and change the name of your device that shows up on the screen. Below we’ll explain how you can change the name of the device on the Samsung Galaxy S6 and Galaxy S6 Edge running Android Marshmallow 6.0.
