How To Fix Camera Not Working Issue On iPhone 8 And iPhone 8 Plus

The Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus both come with a very powerful camera. There are a number of users, however, who have complained about having problems with their Apple iPhone 8’s and iPhone 8 Plus’s camera over time.

There have been complaints of the iPhone camera reporting an unexpected error after they have been using it for awhile. Some have tried rebooting their devices or resetting it to factory settings, but the problem still doesn’t get resolved.

You can, however, try following the tips we have provided below. These are just a couple different methods that you can use to solve the camera failure issue on your iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

Fixing The Apple iPhone 8 And iPhone 8 Plus Camera Not Working:

  1. You can try resetting your iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus. You can do this by pressing the volume up button, then pressing the volume down button, then holding the side button until the Apple logo appears.
  2. The next method that you can try is to wipe the cache partition; this method sometimes solves the camera failure problem on Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, as the error could be caused by temporary data being stored in the cache. Click on Settings and then go to General. You can now click on iPhone Storage, and then you can click on Manage Storage. Search and look for Documents and Data. You can now slide the items that you want to delete and click on Delete. To finish this process, you should click on Edit and click on Delete All to delete all the data.

If the problem persists after trying the above methods, then your best option is to contact the retailer or the Apple store where you bought the device and request a replacement, as the iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus camera is defective.
