How To Rename Folders On iPhone X

In today’s post, we’ll be discussing ways to rename the folders in iPhone X. Apple’s iPhone X has great features, including being able to rename the files and folders on your phone.  Folders allows the user to organize the menu screen by grouping applications according to function or mere preference. This allows for a cleaner more organized screen, and makes it easier to find applications especially when you have installed a number of them on your phone.

When creating the folder for the first time, your iPhone X will provide it with a default folder name . Below, we’ll show  you how to change the folder name to be more personalized. Just follow the steps below, and you’re good to go.

Renaming Folders on iPhone X

  1. Power on iPhone X
  2. Choose the folder that you will change the name for
  3. Select and hold any of the applications, this will make the icons move around
  4. Here, you will be able to modify the folder name according to your preference
  5. Enter the desired folder name on the space provided
  6. Tap Done to confirm

When done with the steps above, your folder now should now reflect the new folder name you have entered. You can now organize your desktop into multiple folders with given applications inside. For example, a folder with all your games inside, another one with all the office applications such as calculators, memos, to-do lists, and one with all the social media applications like Instagram, Facebook, Flickr and Twitter. Navigation of iPhone X will now be easier.
