Another method to fix your iPhone 7 or iPhone 7 Plus not getting texts is by going to the Settings of the phone. Then select on Messages > Send & Receive. Tap Use your Apple ID for iMessage and sign in with your Apple ID. Make sure that your phone number and Apple ID are listed under You Can Be Reached By iMessage At. On your other iOS devices, go back to Settings > Messages > Send & Receive.
