Turn OFF Camera Sound On Galaxy S9

There are users of the new Galaxy S9 that do not like the camera sound of their device. These users really find the camera shutter sound that their Galaxy S9 produces anytime they take a picture as obnoxious and unnecessary.

If you are not a fan of the camera sound and you will like to switch it off, then you are reading the right article. Some owners of the Galaxy S9 feel the camera sound that smartphones produce anytime you take a picture is old-fashioned already and should not be included in the features of a smartphone anymore.

As useless as you feel the camera sound is, I believe it will still be included among the features of every new smartphone at least for some years more because it’s even illegal to take a picture with a digital camera in some areas of the world.

Some users have complained about the camera sound. They want to take a picture discreetly, but the phone makes a shutter noise.

There are third-party camera apps that available for download to turn the sound off. You really don’t need to go that far if you’re using a Galaxy S9. There are simpler ways to switch off the camera sound by just some few tricks

Deactivating Camera Sound on Your Galaxy S9

  1. Power on your Galaxy S9
  2. Click on the Camera icon
  3. Locate the Settings icon and then click on it
  4. Navigate to the last option on the menu list
  5. Locate the Shutter sound switch option and move it OFF
  6. You can now start taking your pictures without the Camera sound

That’s all you need to do to take your selfie without drawing the attention of anybody. If you later decide you’ve missed the camera sound, just follow the same steps to switch back!
