How To Add A Person To Group Message In iPhone X

On our earlier guides, we taught you how you can leave a group  leave a group chat message on iPhone X  on iPhone X. In this article, we’ll be teaching you how to add someone to it. Older updates don’t allow someone to be added to a group chat and will result in a new thread with that someone being created. The latest update of the iOs eliminates this issue and enable us to add people to the group chat after it has been started. Note that the feature only enables you to add people to a group thread, and will not be accessible when you want to add someone on a one on one conversation.

With this guide, you’ll be able to add anyone one the group thread you have created without having to create a new thread with them on it. Please note that this approach will only be accessible for solely group iMessage chat only and not mixed between iMessage and SMS, hence friends who are an Android User can’t be added to it. With that being said, the only thing the newly added person will see on the group chat is from the time he joined the group chat and all previous chats on the group will be inaccessible for him.
