Is Brother Printer a Good Brand? Here Are Some of the Best Models

Brother is a well-known brand that specializes specifically in printers, so they know their thing. Here are some of the best Brother printers you can find on the market in 2021:

1. Brother DCP-J1100W All-in-Box

This all-in-one printer may be a bit slow, but its advantages outweigh the cons. It features copy, print, and scan functions, Wi-Fi, and touch-screen control.

The included ink will last on average for about three years, which is truly impressive – not a lot of printers on the market can last that long on a single cartridge! The price is higher than average for a home printer, but it’s worth it considering that you won’t have to buy ink for a few years.

Pros:

  • 3 in 1
  • Touch screen
  • Wi-Fi
  • 3 years of ink included (based on average printing frequency and amount)

Cons:

  • Small paper capacity
  • Higher than average price

Frequently Asked Questions

In this section, we’ll share more recommendations on choosing the best printer.

What Is the Best Printer for Home Use in 2021?

The answer depends on how often you’re using a printer and whether you need extended functionality. Brother offers plenty of models that are equally great for home use, but one that stands out above the rest is Brother MFC-J6530. It’s small and lightweight, yet holds up to 250 pages and handles A3 format.

The features include scanning, copying, printing, fax, and Wi-Fi. If you’re using a printer every day, we also suggest considering Brother DCP-J1100W All-In-Box. It’s larger, but the ink included should be enough for regular use during three years.

Which Is the Best Brother Printer for Home Use?

Home use printers are normally compact, free from complications, and affordable. Thus, Brother HL-L5100DN is a great option for those looking for a simple yet reliable model.

It holds up to 300 pages and features high-speed printing, but doesn’t cost a fortune due to a lack of Wi-Fi. That shouldn’t be a serious issue if it stays connected to the same computer, though, which is a common situation with home printers.

Which Is a Better Printer Brand, Brother or HP?

Both printer brands are trusted as they have been around for a good while, and offer great models to fit any needs. HP is generally costlier but offers slightly better customer support. Many users report that Brother printers are more reliable throughout their lifecycle. The combination of a lower price and longer lifetime makes Brother potentially better.

What Is the Best Brand All in One Printer?

All-in-One printers are rarely compact and affordable. Thus, Brother MFC-J6530 is a unique find that balances great functionality and user-friendliness. It weighs below 7 kgs, but can print, scan, copy, and features fax. It can be connected by USB and Wi-Fi. Last but not least, you can use paper formats up to A3 and hold up to 250 pages in the paper tray.

Which Is the Best Brother Printer Model?

There’s no ultimate answer to this question, as it all boils down to your personal preferences and needs. If we neglect the price, however, Brother DCP-J1100W All-In-Box may be considered the best model this year. It’s lightweight but can print, scan, and copy.

The paper tray isn’t the largest – it holds up to 150 pages, but what makes this model stand out is the amount of ink included. If you get this model, you can forget about buying new cartridges for a couple of years to come.

What Is the Best Home Printer on the Market?

The first point to decide on when choosing a printer is the brand. Brother is one of the most popular printer makers on the market – a title that’s well-deserved. Brother HL-L5100DN is a great option for those looking for a compact, simple and affordable, yet reliable model.

It holds up to 300 pages and features high-speed printing, but doesn’t cost a fortune due to a lack of Wi-Fi. That shouldn’t be a serious issue if it stays connected to the same computer, though, which is a common situation with home printers.

A Reliable Brand

As you can see, Brother offers a selection of printers for any user. Hopefully, our guide has convinced you that this brand is worth trusting and helped you find the perfect model. I have a Brother MFC-J1010DW printer purchased last summer. Have not been able to get black printer ink for the last month. Don’t know how long they have been out of stock. Stayaway from this printer for now.
