How to Fix a Blurry Image and Make it Clear in Picsart

Blurry images are a major issue for photographers. No one wants their pictures to look out of focus unless they did it on purpose. Like many other photo editing apps, PicsArt has several ways to artfully blur your image, but it unfortunately doesn’t have the Unblur option.

But don’t worry, there are other ways you can use the app to make your photo clearer. In this article, we’ll show you how to sharpen blurry images and improve their quality.

Sharpening a Blurry Image

In PicsArt, you can either sharpen the whole image if you’re unsatisfied with the way it looks, or you can sharpen just the parts that seem particularly blurry. Here’s how you can use this option:

  1. Open PicsArt.
  2. Preview the photo you want to sharpen.
  3. Tap on the Effects.
  4. Add the Sharpen effect.

Applying that effect should make your image less blurry. Of course, just as with any other effect, you can change the level of sharpness, because there’s no point in making the image too sharp, either. You’ll see a sliding bar at the bottom of the screen, and you can use it to adjust the level of sharpness.

If you want to sharpen just one blurry area in a photo, here’s how to do so:

  1. Preview the photo.
  2. Tap on the area you want to sharpen.
  3. If it’s too small to see clearly, zoom it in.
  4. Tap on the Effects.
  5. Add the Sharpen effect.

That’s it. Again, you can customize the level of sharpness. If you want to sharpen more areas, you’ll have to repeat this process for each of them. It’s not possible to select several areas at the same time.

Is There Any Other App I Can Use?

Unfortunately, as far as we know, there isn’t any other app that has the Unblur option. But if PicsArt didn’t help you, there are some other options you may want to try. For example, the photo editor app BeFunky has powerful effects that allow you to edit your photos professionally. You can choose from Sharpening and Smart Sharpening.

The difference between the two is that Smart Sharpening increases the contrast along the edges of the image, making the central object stand out. Smart Sharpening is more intensive than the regular Sharpening, and therefore it provides better results.

Another good option is Photo Editor Pro. Unfortunately, the sharpening effect is available only to Premium users, and it works best for mildly blurred images, not those that are very blurry. For the best results, you can sharpen your image and adjust the contrast at the same time. You can experiment until you find what works best for you.

Is There a Desktop Version?

Some people prefer to edit their photos on the desktop, and that’s fine. In fact, it easier to see what you’re doing and to avoid over-sharpening or similar issues. There’s an excellent online tool that can help you fix your blurry photos. It’s called Photo Sharpen, and it does precisely that.

The best thing about this online photo editor is that everyone can use it – even if you don’t know anything about editing photos. All you have to do is upload your photo and let the website’s algorithm do the rest. The only downside is that you can’t adjust the result. You’re left with what algorithm creates for you.

But don’t worry, as the results are really good. A lot of people have been using this app for years. It may not be an app for the very tech-savvy, but it provides you with the exact thing you need in a matter of minutes.

Waiting for the Right Tool

PicsArt has many filters that allow us to customize our images. It’s never been easier to edit your pictures and videos like a professional. However, they still have a few things to work on when it comes to fixing blurry photos.

According to the number of people who search for “how to unblur photos” on Google, it may be high time for apps to offer their users this option. And the apps that do will undoubtedly become very popular. Until then, photographers can only wait and try out other options until they find something that works.
