Forgot Pin Password On iPhone 8 And iPhone 8 Plus (Solution)

Have you forgotten your pin password on your iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus? If you have, you may want to follow this guide so that you can get back into your device. Being locked out of your smartphone because you’ve forgotten your iPhone pin password can be terrifying, but thankfully there is a quick workaround. One method requires you to perform a hard factory reset but this will remove all files you haven’t recently backed up to iCloud. There are some other options available, too, and we’ll talk about those in the guide below.

Select a Way to Erase your iPhone 8

Unfortunately, if you haven’t previously backed up your data on your iPhone, you won’t be able to get it back. This may mean you need to erase all of your data to get back into your iPhone.

  1. If your device is synced with iTunes, you can use the iTunes method listed below
  2. If your iPhone is signed into iCloud, you can use the iCloud method listed below
  3. If you don’t have iCloud or iTunes connected to your iPhone, you’ll have to use the recovery method listed below

Erase your iPhone 8 with iTunes

  • Use a lightning cable to connect your iPhone 8 to a computer
  • Open iTunes on your computer and enter your iTunes passcode if asked. Alternatively, use the iTunes recovery mode

  • Once the syncing has finished, you can click Restore [your device]
