How To Keep Screen On Longer For Apple iPhone 8 And iPhone 8 Plus

Did you know that there is a way to set up your iPhone 8 or iPhone 8 Plus to keep the display on for longer? By default, the iPhone 8 screen will turn off after 30 seconds of inactivity. If you’re in the middle of some reading or keep looking away from your phone to do other tasks, this 30 second countdown just isn’t long enough.
Thankfully, there is a quick way to change the screen timer so that the display on both the iPhone and the iPhone 8 Plus stays on for longer. You can access this feature in the settings menu. You’re also able to choose exactly how long you’d like the screen to stay on for before it gets switched off again. It is important to keep in mind that the longer you keep your screen on for, the quicker the battery will be drained. This is a tradeoff for being to have the screen on for longer, so you may want to find the right balance between the default setting and having the display on 24/7.
