How To Turn OFF Predictive Text On Galaxy S8 And Galaxy S8 Plus

The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus comes with amazing new features, but some of you may not of known that if you are new to the phone. The Samsung Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus comes with Predictive text that allows you to have words recommended to you while you are typing something that will supplement what you have already typed very well so that you are more efficient.

We wrote some tips and guidance how to turn off predictive text on Galaxy S8 and Galaxy S8 Plus.

 

Turning off your predictive text:

  1. Make sure your smartphone is on.
  2. Choose the Settings option
  3. Click Language & Input option.
  4. Click “On” for the Samsung Keyboard option.
  5. Click “On” for Predictive Text.

 

Advanced settings

There is also an option for Advanced Settings rather than choosing predictive text for your standard settings on your Samsung Galaxy S8. This makes the possibility for customization even higher.

This includes using keystrokes to set up time delays or being able to change your settings to allow you to hold a number or letter for a certain time range using a special character that you choose.
