A (relatively) modern remake of the classic “Flying Toasters” screen saver from the After Dark collection. There have been many remakes of this screen saver, and ToasterClone isn’t the best, but it’s one of the only ones that works past OS X Snow Leopard.

PixelCity is an old, free screensaver, but it’s really lovely. It’s a port from Unix or Windows and generates 3D flyovers and pans of a newly-generated city at dusk, streets filled with the lights of oncoming and departing cars, and skyscrapers lit and half-lit. http://emage-software.com/
