Many LG owners have mentioned a number of LG G6 sound problems since its release. A number of different types of sound problems have been recorded, including issues with the LG G6 call quality and problems with the quality of music.

Other users have complained about audio quality whilst pairing the LG G6 with a Bluetooth device. It can be frustrating to deal with the LG G6 sound problems, but there are a number of potential fixes available.

In this guide we’ll provide some troubleshooting steps you can take to try and resolve any potential sound problems on your LG G6. If the audio issues persist after trying these methods, we would suggest getting in contact with your retailer or a licensed technician to get your LG G6 repaired.

How to fix LG G6 sound problems:

  • Make sure your LG G6 is turned OFF. Take the SIM card out of the LG G6 and then reinsert it. With the display facing upwards, use the removal tool to remove the card tray from the upper edge of the LG G6 and pull the card out of the tray. Then you just put the card back and pop the tray back into place. After that, switch the smartphone back on.
  • Use compressed air to clean out the microphone and speaker grills. Sometimes dirt can build up inside, which can cause audio problems.
  • Sometimes Bluetooth can interfere with the LG G6 audio quality. Switch off your Bluetooth devices and check to see if your audio problem has been resolved.
  • Sometimes the audio issue is related to a problem with the cache. You can wipe the cache quite easily. Learn how to wipe the LG G6 cache.
