LG V30 Text To Speech Feature

One the new features of the LG V30 is its text-to-speech function. This is integrated seamlessly into the operating system without needing to install a separate app. This feature can be used to have your device read things like books, translations and messages, including in languages other than English.

How to Operate LG V30 Text-to-Speech:

1. Turn on your device
2. Head to the home screen
3. Go to settings
4. Select system
5. Tap language & input
6. Select Text-to-speech options in the “Speech” section
7. Select which TTS engine you’d like to use
   • LG TTS
   • Google TTS
8. Tap the settings option beside the search engine
9. Select install voice data
10. Tap download
11. Allow the language to load
12. Choose back
13. Select language

Note that this feature is not designed for those with visual impairment, but as a convenience for hand-free reading
