Samsung Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus: Email Stuck In Outbox – Resend

The Samsung Galaxy S9 and S9 Plus both come with a default email app. For most of us, this application is all we need for email needs, and it will never fail us. However, like most applications, they can sometimes pose problems. A very common example is an email getting stuck in the outbox. The email just won’t send and remains to wait in the outgoing box forever. Why is this? How can we fix it?

In most cases, the problem lies in your internet connection. Lucky for you, this issue is very easy to fix. One solution you could try would be to improve your internet connection and wait for the application to detect it and automatically send the email. If there is no strong Wi-Fi connection available, you could always resort to using your mobile data. But if you are in a hurry and need to send the email immediately, you could always send the email manually by following the instructions below.

To Send a Stuck Email On Your Galaxy S9 and Galaxy S9 Plus

  1. Turn on your Galaxy S9 or Galaxy S9 Plus
  2. Open your Email application
  3. Choose the inbox menu
  4. Choose the outbox menu
  5. Look for the stuck email in the outbox
  6. Select the stuck email by holding it
  7. Click on the More option in the upper right corner
  8. Click the Send button

If you have followed all the steps above and your Galaxy S9 device is connected to the internet, then the email should have been sent with no problem. Always double check and make sure that your smartphone has a strong and stable Wi-Fi connection. After ensuring that all internet connectivity problems are good, you can head on to your outbox menu in your email application and quickly send the email manually.
