  2. An old smartphone that has either Android version 4.3 or later or an iPhone with IOS version 4.2.1 or later
  3. A Windows platform with the following requirements at least

– Operating System (Windows XP at least)

– Screen Resolution: 1024 x 768 (600), 32 bit or higher

– CPU: Pentium 4; 2.4 GHz or higher

– RAM: 1GB or higher

  1. Required Software: Windows Media Player version 11 at least

Smart Switch Requirements for Mac

To use the Smart Switch on Mac for moving content from one smartphone to another, there is a list of requirements regarding the setup you should have.

  1. A Samsung smartphone operating on Android OS version 4.3 or higher
  2. The previous phone should also operate on Android OS version 4.3 or be an iPhone running on OS version 4.2.1 or higher
  3. The Mac platform must have the following requirements

– Screen resolution: 1280 x 800

– CPU: Intel Core 2 Duo 2.0 GHz or higher

– Operating System: Mac OS X® 10.6 or later

– RAM: 1GB or higher

– Android File Transfer application must be installed on the system
