How to Turn OFF Background Apps On Essential PH1

Stopping Background Applications

1. Switch on your Essential PH1
2. Select Recent apps from your phone’s home screen
3. Tap on Active apps
4. Tap the End button following the application you want to close. Or select End all
5. Selec OK to confirm

Closing and Disabling All Data Usage in the Background

1. Power your Essential PH1 on
2. Access Settings and tap on Data usage
3. Select the more options menu
4. Uncheck the “Auto sync data” option
5. Select Ok to confirm

Turning Off Background Data for Google Apps
