The Samsung Galaxy Note 8 has a feature that enables its users to block calls from a specific person or from unknown callers. This blocking feature gives relief from all those annoying calls from telemarketers and spammers. These reasons trigger the users to use the Samsung Note 8 blocking feature and it’s a common activity for smartphone users to also protect their privacy from unknown people.

Samsung called this feature as “Rejection” but we’ll call it “Blocking” to make everything easier and clear. Here’s a guide on how you can block calls on your Samsung Galaxy Note 8.

If you want to block a specific contact or number, you can do this by going to the Phone app from the menu page of your Samsung Galaxy Note 8. Just tap on ‘Call Log’ and choose the number you prefer to block so they won’t bother you anymore. After that, click on ‘More’ placed in the top right corner of the screen and click on ‘Add to Auto Reject List’.

Another issue that users report is when they receive calls on their Samsung Galaxy Note 8 from unknown numbers. These callers usually do pranks and it is best to add them to your block list so you won’t receive any of their calls anymore. Just go to the ‘Auto Reject List’ option and select ‘Unknown Callers’ on your Galaxy Note 8. From this option, you’ll see a toggle switch, tap on it to get it activated and tada!, you’ll no longer receive any of those annoying calls from unknown people.

How To Block Calls From The Auto-Reject List On Galaxy Note 8

Another way to block calls is by adding them to the Auto Reject List. From the word itself, your Note 8 won’t notify you when the caller is included on the Auto Reject List on your Samsung Note 8.  So if you want to do this, just go to the Phone app again from the menu page, click on More placed on the top right corner of the screen and choose Settings. You can see the option “Call Rejection’ and select it. Then choose “Auto Reject List”.

After you open the Auto Reject List page, enter any number or preferred contact to stop them from bothering you with phone calls anymore. All your blocked person you added from the past would show up here. If you want to unblock them again, just get to the same page again to remove them from the Auto Reject List.
