Apple iPhone 8 And iPhone 8 Plus Setting Alarm Clock Guide

Knowing the Alarm clock feature of the Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus is a must for owners of the smartphone. The iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus Alarm clock is a great tool for waking up or as a reminder of important events. The alarm clock on the Apple iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus has an amazing snooze feature which comes in handy if the you are staying at a hotel which doesn’t have an alarm clock.

This walkthrough will teach you on how to set, edit and delete alarms in the built-in app. You should be able to sleep with ease (for around 10 minutes or so), using the snooze feature on your iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus.

 

Manage Alarms

To make a new alarm, go to Clock and then tap Alarm and then tap the “+” sign in the upper right hand corner. After that, tweak the options below to your preferred settings.

  • Time: Set the time on when the alarm will sound. Tap AM/PM to toggle the time of day
  • Repeat: Tap on which days to have the alarm repeat. Tick the daily box to repeat the alarm on the selected days weekly
  • Label: Name your alarm. This is especially useful for repeating alarms. Perhaps you want to set a Weekly Alarm and another set of Weekend Alarms. The name will be displayed on the screen when the alarm is triggered.
  • Sound: Set your alarm to Sounds, Vibration or both.  The build-in Alarm app syncs with your iTunes and allows you to select songs from your music library.  You can also set your alarm to standard Ringtone sounds.
  • Snooze: Tap the toggle to turn ON or OFF the snooze function. 

 

Deleting an Alarm

If you want to delete an alarm on the iPhone 8 and iPhone 8 Plus, just go to the alarm menu. After that, tap the Edit button in the top left corner of the screen. Click on the red icon next to the alarm that you want to delete and then tap on the Delete button to remove that alarm.

 

Turning Off an Alarm

Tap the white toggle button located next to the alarm to the left to turn the alarm off.  Note, a green toggle button indicates the alarm is on.
