How To Repair Samsung Galaxy S6 IMEI Number Issue

A common issue facing Samsung Galaxy smartphones is that the IMEI number doesn’t always work properly and needs to be repaired. The Samsung Galaxy S6 faces the same situation that other Galaxy smartphones face with the IMEI number not working properly, and some Galaxy S6 owners are dealing with problems that won’t allow them to use services like Mobile Data, Calls, SMS, and so on. This means the functionality of the phone is more than a little bit limited, and it’s only half a step above bricking the device completely.

Even though the Galaxy S6 has seen great success since it was released around the world, it’s not surprising that it isn’t perfect. Every device is going to have problems. But don’t worry, we’ll help teach you how to repair the Samsung Galaxy S6 IMEI number. The following is a guide with two different methods to potentially fix the IMEI number issue on the Samsung Galaxy S6.

Fix Un-updated firmware

  1. Turn on the Samsung Galaxy S6.
  2. From the main screen, go to Apps.
  3. Select Settings.
  4. Select About Device.
  5. Select the Software Update option.
  6. Select Download when the pop up message shows up.
  7. Wait until the download is complete.

Restore and repair null IMEI

  1. Turn on the Samsung Galaxy S6.
  2. Enable and enter the USB debugging mode.
  3. Then connect the Samsung Galaxy S6 to the computer.
