How To Use Private Mode On Huawei P10

Did you know that the Huawei P10 has a built in private mode? With private mode you can hide any files, photos or videos that you may not want other users to see. Once you’ve hidden files within the private mode feature, you can show friends and family your gallery and everything on your phone without the risk of them seeing something you wouldn’t like them to see. How to enable Private Mode on Huawei P10:

  1. Drag two fingers down from the top of the screen. Tap ‘Options.’
  2. Tap Private Mode on the following list.
  3. When you enter Private Mode, on-screen messages will guide you through setting the feature up and setting a pin code.

 
How to add and remove files from Private Mode on Huawei P10:
Once private mode is set up and switched on, you can hide any files of your choice. All of the hidden files will only be accessible through the private mode feature.

  1. Follow the steps above to turn Private Mode on.
  2. Go to the photo, video or file you’d like to hide.
  3. Tap and hold to select the file. Tap other files to select multiple files. Next tap the menu button in the top right corner.
  4. Tap the ‘Move to private’ option.

  1. Drag two fingers down from the top of the screen. Tap ‘Options.’
  2. Tap to toggle OFF Private Mode on the following list.
  3. Private Mode should now be switched off.
