  2. If prompted, provide your Apple ID details
  3. Click on All Devices located at the top of your browser
  4. Click on the device you wish to delete
  5. You can now click on Erase [device], and your device will be erased
  6. You will be provided with two options; you can either restore from a backupor set up as new

Ensure that your iPhone device is connected to a Wi-Fi or cellular network for you to be able to have access to the Find My iPhone service.

 

Using recovery mode to erase your iPhone 8

If you have not backed up your device or synced your device with any of the services explained above, then the last effective method that you can use is the Recovery mode. This will help you to erase your device and the password.

  1. Connect your smartphone to a computer and click on iTunes
