How To Turn OFF Shutter Sound In iPhone X

The recently released iPhone X has an amazing and stunning camera that has a high quality of megapixel. But some of the common problem in this iPhone X is the shutter sound of the camera when taking a photo. Because not all of us wants to hear the clicking of the sound it produce for it may lead to unwanted attention from the people around you especially when you are taking your selfie pictures.

In the United States, it is illegal to turn off the sound of your camera when taking pictures because it is stated in their law that all cell phones that have digital cameras should make the clicking sound when they take a picture. There are sometimes ways around this, but be aware they may not be entirely legal.  Read on for more info.

How to Reduce and Mute the Volume of the iPhone X

The very first method for switching off the shutter sound of your iPhone X camera is to mute your phone. To do this, just press down the volume button until it switches to vibrate mode. You will no longer hear the clicking sound of your phone if your country’s laws allow this. This won’t wok in the United States, however.

Connecting Your Headphones Will Not Do the trick

It’s a common misconception that connecting headphones will mute the shutter. Generally if you connect earphones to your smartphone, all sound is sent to the headphones. On iPhone X notification and system sounds are played separately thus playing the sound on the speaker.

The Use of the Application for Third-Party Camera

Another method for turning off the shutter sound of your iPhone X is with a third-party camera. While the iOS camera application plays a shutter sound by default, not all camera applications do. You may search for the different application in Google Play Store & then test camera application on the iPhone X to make sure the application will not make any camera noise.
